I was going to shrug this off, but it's bothering me now. For whatever reason, MED wasn't the first thing in my mind to manipulate the 150.1.11.0/24 route out of AS200. Resetting the origin code was.
So, since the the lab didn't specify MED, only prohibited using as-path prepend, would creating a route-map that matches the prefix and setting the origin code lower or higher from one of the AS 200/100 interface points be an incorrect solution (depending on how you originated the prefix to begin with, network statement vs redistribute - also not specified)? If so, why?
I'm sure this must have been asked and answered before; I do apologize for my rather short search effort.
