Task 1.5 - Rate Limiting (Storm Control)

Hi Everyone,

For this task, I multiplied out the "average" packetsize by the "average" number of packets per second, and used that value (1.908 Mb/s) as the bitrate for the storm control. The SG specifies using only the pps rate of 250 (per the requirement not to interfere with the packet size) but it seemed to me that since the PPS rate in the task was also stated as "average" it would also make sense not to cap the port at *exactly* that packet rate. Using the computed bitrate would allow for some variation in both the precise packet size and the precise packet rate.

Thoughts? Would this be a valid solution? If not, what's my clue that "average" packet rate of 250 actually meant "not to exceed" 250?
