This question regarding LLQ has been bugging me and I have not been able to find a clear answer.
Suppose I have a LLQ and three CBWFQ's. Congestion occurs and all of the queues begin to fill. The LLQ gets serviced first up to its configured policed limit but some packets are still remaining in the queue.
My question is: what happens next? Does the router go to one of the other queues service it, then return to the LLQ? Or does it service all the other queues in MDRR fashion and then circle back to the LLQ?
Perhaps my confusion lies in the fact that both possibilities seem to be wrong. If the former is correct, then the LLQ could exceed its policed limit. But if the latter is correct, then the LLQ just becomes like a normal CBWFQ.
What am I missing?
