Mock Lab 2 *Caution- There is 1 (minor) spoiler in here*

Man I am a bit demoralized after taking Mock Lab 2.  I thought I would do pretty well on the configuration, but I was worried about the troubleshooting section.  Turns out, during the troubleshooting section, I lost my Internet connection which cost me about 20 minutes.  When I got my connection back, I was proud of myself for not being too stressed and I made a change seconds before time ran out to try to fix the ticket I was working on which would have given me 8 out of 10 if correct, or could have broken a ton of the other tickets if incorrect since it was a layer 2 command which could have broken my connectivity.

When I got to the config section, I realized that I was moving kinda slow, but I didn't see too many sections that were unfamiliar to me.  I thought I had a lot of sections completed, but was not terribly sure about getting 100% on some of them.  Man was I right about that!

The end result was that I passed the troubleshooting section on this Mock Lab as well as on Mock Lab 1, but I got my ass handed to me on the config section.  I'm not sure how to feel about it.  On the one hand I can tell that I have learned more subjects than I knew a month ago, but it seems like I wasn't strong enough in many of them to get 100% of the sections.  So I got a lot of 0 point sections, even though I am familiar with the topics.

I almost felt like giving up- like the last year I've spent studying has been for nothing, but I guess all I can do is focus on the positive and address the areas that I need work on.

But man, results like these do make it seem impossible, even though I know it's not.

One thing that threw me for a loop was EIGRP path selection using delay- I didn't see any restrictions against changing the metric weights, so I changed them so that only delay was used, and I got the desired result.  I got 0 points for this section because I broke that rule, even though I didn't see or notice that rule.

My question is- can this happen on the real lab?  If they don't specifically tell you not to change the metric weights (or some other configuration) can they still knock you for it?

Can anyone comment on whether or not you changed the metric weights on the real lab and whether it cost you points or not?

Thanks in advance!!
