I have a very simplified diagram of a section of network where I am currently experiencing issues.
We have a 3750 which is peering up our WAN SP router via eBGP
It also talks OSPF to the internal network, there are a few static routes on the switch that need to come into OSPF and BGP
There is an OSPF to BGP redistribution going on and also a BGP to OSPF redistribution to handle routes coming from internal to WAN and WAN to internal.
The static routes are causing a problem as I am not sure the best way to bring them in?
Currently they are being redistributed into OSPF and then from OSPF into BGP
I am also getting some feedback from OSPF doing a redistribution back into BGP at a remote site.
What would anyone suggest the best way to bring in the static routes into the network?
Into BGP and then redistribute into OSPF or into OSPF and redistribute into BGP
Or does it not really matter.
As long as I can filter them from being put back into BGP on the right hand side of the diagram (much simplified)
I will be ok.
I am ok with performing the redistributions and filtering just not sure what the best way to do it
Thanks
Roger
