i'm not sure 100% but i believe this design is not valid although have no discontiguous area and the source redistribution addresses from where external routes come from were all ospf internal addresses. When i redistribute rip routes from R4 they appears as E2 on R1 from R3-ABR but they do not appear from R2 since R4 does not set the P-bit on type 7 LSAs. Once i shutdown R4 f1/1 , P-bit is set and redistribution occur in area0 correctly. I was little surprised to see the result but probably im trying to make work something that cannot work. I'm trying to check out some doc regarding something im missing
