I'm looking for a bit of guidance on how best to utilize the tools available, should anyone have an opinion.
Some have compared studying towards the CCIE like eating an elephant; where does one start?
I watched the first few videos in the v5 advanced technologies course, which went into some deal with regards to a strategy. Brian listed a number of books which I picked up (safaribooks is amazing). I've been reading them and watching videos in conjunction..but I just want to make sure I'm optimally using my time. As Brian said in the video, the goal is to become an expert...not a configuration jocky.
At what point did you all start making an attempt on the lab books? Should I read about a technology, then focus on it in the lab, or should I get the conceptual knoweledge through reading/videos then approach the lab books?
Just curious how I can best utilize everything I have available to me though INE, as it is quite a bit of information/material.
Thank you!
