I saw the BGP Video for load balancing which showed 2 unequal links connected with 3 routers all running bgp. The top single router R1 had the command maximum-paths 2 added to it along with communities to announce the bandwoidth.
We have 2 R1 routers in our network for redundancy. However they are talking OSPF to our 2-7206 MPLS WAN routers with DS3's each. The 2 MPLS routers are talking BGP to the carrier.
I was wanting to know if max paths will work with 2 CE routers to 2 PE routers, same AS on the PE, 65000, Verizon.
They are 2-7206VXR's running 12.4.4 adventerprise services.
Can I put max paths 2 on both the 7206's? Will it work?
This is part of what both 7206's show with reverse next hop:
MPLS-1#sh ip bgp
