Hi,
I recently hit and issue where my dspfarm resources (MTP & transcoder) would not register and when I ran show sccp I got
something along the lines of "TCP Socket down" in the output. I'm not sure what caused the error and am trying to get to the bottom of it.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this issue? I have tried to reproduce it by changing the MTP name in CUCM so that
the MTP wont register but I get "Register Failed" in that case. I've also tried shutting the interface to which sccp is bound and changing the sccp port number but I usually get an error like the below and not "TCP Socket down"
MTP Oper State: ACTIVE_IN_PROGRESS - Cause Code: TCP_CONN_ERROR
Active Call Manager: NONE
TCP Link Status: CONNECT_PENDING, Profile Identifier: 1
I have also tried changing the keepalives for the sccp ccm group..
If anyone has any ideas about what could cause the error I'd be grateful.
