I am looking for some advice from those that have taken and passed the CCIE R&S lab in the past. I have been studying for the exam for over 2 years, read a number of the books off of the recommended reading list (Routing TCPIP vol I/II a couple of times), have done workbook #1, and have been working through the labs in Workbook 2 for a little while. I have also watched the ATC course and have pretty much used the INE materials almost exclusively for prep. Based on this I should be ready to rock right? But no, when I am doing the graded labs for trouleshooting, or the workbook #2 labs, I have a really hard time "putting it all together". If you ask me specifically to set up technology A, no prob, but in a lab situation I get completely lost and feel like I haven't studied at all. I am now in the mode of just working through each lab in workbook #2, taking graded labs for assesment, and reviewing technologies that I don't recall or need more help on. Is this the best way at this point to get that confidence?
thanks in advance
Jon
