Task 2.5 IGP Redistribution

Task 2.5 tells us to redistribute various routing protocols.  The solution on R3 is listed as follows:

 

R3:

router eigrp 100

redistribute rip metric 10000 1000 255 1 1500

!

router rip

redistribute eigrp 100 metric 1

For me this creates route feedback/loops as EIGRP has external routes from BB3 and also the static when the backup link to R4 is up.

Without modifying the AD of RIP on R3 these routes are redistributed into RIP and learnt back from R2 via RIP as these routers are connected via Serial and Ethernet.  RIP AD 120 will then prempt the EIGRP route and get advertised back into EIGRP.
Did anyone else have this or did I miss something?
My solution was to set RIP AD as 180 on R3 then use an ACL to make the native RIP/OSPF routes AD of 80.  I also used tags as an additional safety net:
router eigrp 100
 redistribute rip metric 64 2000 255 1 1500 route-map R>E
router rip
 redistribute eigrp 100 metric 1 route-map E>R
 offset-list 0 in 1 Serial0/0/0.302
 offset-list 0 out 1 Serial0/0/0.302
 distance 180
 distance 80 148.1.0.0 0.0.0.255 27
 distance 80 192.10.1.0 0.0.0.255 27
