I thought this iwould make a nice question for the forum.
The idea is to answer the question without labbing it up - it only involves three routers
This is the scenario -
- R1 and R2 are running EIGRP on all of their
interfaces, including their loopbacks.
- ·R1 and R2 are in AS 100 and peer with each other
using the loopbacks above using the minimum set of commands i.e. remote-as and update-source on each side.
- R3 is in AS200
- R3 is not running any IGP protocols
- ·R2 peers with R3 – eBGP
- EIGRP is redistributed into BGP on R1
Question – does R3 learn about R2's loopback address? In either case justify your answer?
