BGP knowledge question

I thought this iwould make a nice question for the forum.

The idea is to answer the question without labbing it up - it only involves three routers

This is the scenario -

  • R1 and R2 are running EIGRP on all of their interfaces, including their loopbacks.
  • ·R1 and R2 are in AS 100 and peer with each other using the loopbacks above using the minimum set of commands i.e. remote-as and update-source on each side.
  • R3 is in AS200
  • R3 is not running any IGP protocols
  • ·R2 peers with R3 – eBGP
  • EIGRP is redistributed into BGP on R1

Question – does R3 learn about R2's loopback address? In either case justify your answer?
