Hi ALL,
I am looking to police EF traffic on 3560 switch port but cant work out the formula for the
129.13(config)# policy-map POLICE
129.13(config)#Class-map EF
129.13(config-cmap)#match ip dscp ef
129.13(config-cmap)# policy-map POLICE
129.13(config-pmap)#class EF
129.13(config-pmap-c)#police ?
<8000-10000000000> Bits per second (postfix k, m, g optional; decimal point
allowed)
aggregate Choose aggregate policer for current class
129.13(config-pmap-c)#police 10000000 ?
<8000-1000000> Normal burst bytes
129.13(config-pmap-c)#police 10000000
how do you work out the burst bytes
BC = cir x tc/1000
?
that dont feel right to me
10000000 x 125 / 1000 = 1250000
1250000 into bytes /8 = 156250
