shape peak with shape adaptive

Hi all

I have a question when using shape adaptive with shape peak do we set adaptive to be half our minimum rate becuase peak shaping uses both the Bc and Be per interval?

Eg:

policy-map shape-all

  class class-default

     shape peak 64000 8000 8000

     shape adaptive 32000

Would this peak shape at 128K and drop to 64K (mincr) after a number of BECN's? As in does the adaptive shaper get 4000 Bc and 4000 Be because we are peak shaping?

If we were using average shaping this would be:

policy-map shape-all

  class class-default

     shape average 64000 8000 8000

     shape adaptive 64000
