I am just going to lay this out ot make sure i am not going nuts?
the header of section 2 states "Note: VTP is preconfigured on SW1 in server mode, SW3 in transparent mode and SW2 and SW4 in client mode."
1.1 - none of the faults exist as expected.
2.1 - no issues
2.2 - i get everything configured with no issues then i go to check the SG and of course SW4 is not pulling any of the VTP information. in the past i have had a ton of trouble with VTP in various labs mostly where it just wont sync up (even if there is not a transparent device inbetween devices). To troubleshoot i tried: setting SW3 as a client, then creating a vlan on SW1, no luck. Then i set the VTP mode to 2 and tried the same test above, no luck. I eventually had to just set SW4 to transparent and manually create the vlans, is this normal per this lab or am i missing something?
2.3 - the only issue i had was the SG shows "spanning-tree bpduguard enable" being applied to switchports that have trunks connected to them, im assuming just an error? ie SW1 fa0/5 and SW2 fa0/4.
I am just trying to confirm that am i troubleshooting ghosts vs missing real issues that could cost me on the lab.
