Hi all,
I am trying to distribute a default route to a few VRFs through BGP to the connected neighbors. As per the document below default-information originate should be used under the address-family to do this and then redistribute static. The problem is that I do not have the default-information originate command available. The nexus version is 6.1(2) and is in my work lab. is there perhaps a feature other than BGP that needs to be enabled to get this working?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/6_x/nx-os/unicast/configuration/guide/l3_advbgp.html#wp1154404
I have tried to redistribute static using a prefix list but the default route does not show up as a valid route...and I believe that is why it is not redistributed into the BGP process.
Any ideas?
