I am having hard time grasping SOO concept especially when it is set up on backdoor links.
Exp: P1-------------P2

1. P1 & P2 interface towards CE is setup for site of origin & so does interfaces facing each other on CE.
2. P1 = C1 = 100:1 && P2=CE2=100:2
Qs1. Loopback of CE 1 shows up on P1 with SOO set up as extended community. I bring the link down between P1 & CE 1 , CE1 loopback shows up on CE2 through the backdoor link but the same prefix has no SOO attached to it. CE1 interface towards CE 2 has a SOO of 100:1 configured & I was anticipating that to show up on CE2 for CE1s loopback.
Qs2. Syntax for setting SOO under interface is ip vrf sitemap MAP . Is is legit to use the syntax as CE1 has no vrf configured on it.
